New cross-border development opportunities for Sardinian start-ups.
The Regional Department of Industry, with the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland (CCIS), has launched a growth and acceleration programme for the Sardinian start-ups, in order to facilitate their entry into the Swiss market.
The programme has two objectives
- to trigger a learning mechanism for Sardinian start-ups through the expertise of Swiss operators (founders, corporations, investors, coaches);
- to increase the international network of Sardinian start-ups through the Swiss ecosystem, thus gaining access to meetings with potential investors, clients, industrial players or potential users who can validate the proposed technology and solutions.
The companies will be involved in a mentoring and acceleration process on the Swiss ecosystem with experts from ITA and the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland. An initial preparatory phase will be carried out in Sardinia. Accompanying actions will then be identified to take place in Switzerland, to be defined according to the needs of the participating enterprises.
Companies registered in the special section of the Register of Start-ups and Innovative Enterprises with registered office in Sardinia, and SMEs with registered office in Sardinia, established and active for less than 7 years, are eligible.
Applications must be submitted via certified e-mail to the Department of Industry by 9 a.m. on 1 July 2024.
