The Regional Government of Sardinia, Crs4 and Huawei have signed a new agreement in Rome to intensify the island's innovation process on Smart & Safe Cities, with the aim of making the Sardinian cities smarter and safer. The project - launched two years ago with the inauguration of the Joint Innovation Center in the Sardinia Technological Park, in Pula - aims to implement smart applications for citizens, businesses and the public administration throughout the region. An action plan will be implemented to develop ICT solutions and services for health, transport, waste management, logistics, security and Industry 4.0. The Joint Innovation Center will play a fundamental role, entrusted with the task of promoting the implementation of innovative solutions and digital services throughout Sardinia.
