The Regional Ministry of Industry, on the occasion of Sinnova 2018, which will take place in Cagliari the next 11 and 12 October, organizes with the Ice - Agency froreign promotion and internationalization of Italian companies, a incoming visit of investors, research centers and companies interested in investing or starting partnerships with innovative companies and startups based in the region.
The Regional government intends to promote through this initiative the selected Sardinian companies in the British, American and Israeli markets. It also aims to foster the creation of commercial relationships, to lay the foundations for business development activities and encourage setup operations in Sardinia by companies located in the United Kingdom, US and Israel. Ice is identifying additional investors, research centers and companies interested in investing or starting partnerships with innovative companies and startups from other markets for the simultaneous implementation of incomings action in Sardinia, envisaged in the Piano Export Sud II.
During the first day of Sinnova 2018, the participating companies will be introduced to a community of investors and possible partners, while B2B meetings will be held on the second day.
Regularly registered Startups and companies that develop products or innovative processes operating in Sardinia, in the sectors of ICT, Tourism, culture, environment, smart grids for energy management, agritech and foodtech, biomedicine, aerospace, fintech and financial innovation can participate. The interested companies must have a website in English, they must be able to hold a business conversation in English, the must be operational and they must not be subjected to liquidation, bankruptcy, or similar procedures, not even in a preliminary phase. They also need to comply with the social security contributions.
