The Council of Ministers has approved a decree with which allocates just under 4 million euros to wine companies affected by downy mildew and those struggling with the criticality induced by the proliferation of the blue crab in the Adriatic and partly in the Tyrrhenian, providing for the disposal of the animal and other measures to strategically put the supply chain in safety in the coming years.

In particular, the decree provides for an economic incentive to those engaged in the capture and disposal of blue crab, with an allocation of 2,9 million euros. In order to support wine companies affected by downy mildew, the National Solidarity Fund’s compensatory measures can be activated with a first allocation of 1 million euros.
