The Singapore Wine Exchange will take place on November 28th 2018, at the Chijmes Hall. The eventi is organized by ICE, the Agency for foreign promotion and internationalization of Italian companies, and is dedicated to industry operators, journalists and sommeliers. The event is part of ICE ‘s broader strategic promotional framework for the Asian and Pacific area, which will allow the main players of the sector to take in other initiatives dedicated to wine in China, Japan and Vietnam.

Singapore, the dynamic state-city of Southeastern Asia and the region's main commercial and tourism hub, is heavily dependent on the international market, from which it imports most of its food supplies. According to 2018 data of the wine and beverage sector, Italy is at the fourth place for bottled wines exports, after France, Australia and the United States. The Italian wine export in Singapore is worth 13.9 million euros. Sparkling wines occupy a significant market share, and place Italy in second place as a supplier country after France, with a value of 3.3 million euros.
