The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy provide 42 million euros for the selection of 6 innovation poles, in order to facilitate the digital transition of companies.

For the companies, the poles will be the access points to the technology transfer system, composed by the Competence Centres and the European Digital Innovation Hub.

The selection is addressed to public and private bodies that carry out activities of representation, support, and promotion of companies at national level. The aim is to establish digital hubs for the provision of digital first assessment and orientation services.

The initiative is implemented within the framework of Investment 2.3 "Strengthening thematic and territorial extension of technology transfer centres for industry segments", Mission 4 "Education and research" - Component 2 "From research to enterprise" of the PNRR.

The final recipients of the services provided by the Poles are companies, especially SMEs, within the limits of what is provided for by European State aid legislation.

The Executive Decree allocating the funds has been sent to the bodies responsible for registration and control.
