The Ministry of Ecological Transition, in collaboration with the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research, has published the National Platform on Adaptation to Climate Change, with the aim of informing and raising awareness among citizens, companies and stakeholders on the issue of adaptation and to make available data and tools to support Regions and local authorities in decision-making processes.
The Platform, in particular, aims to facilitate the access and sharing of data and information on:
• observed and future climate changes;
• impacts and vulnerabilities of regions, natural systems and socio-economic sectors;
• institutional levels working on the subject;
• strategies and adaptation plans at different administrative levels;
• possible adaptation actions.
The platform will be enriched with data and information from different sources and will be periodically updated.
