AppLI, a virtual assistant for job searchers and businesses, has been launched

Promoting the active participation of young people in the workforce, encouraging skills development in line with local and business needs, and bridging the gap between labor supply and demand. These are the objectives behind AppLI - Personal Assistant for Work in Italy. After completing its initial nationwide testing phase, the program was presented yesterday in Rome and will be fully operational by mid-September 2025.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Policies launched the web coach, which is an experimental project that is currently focused on the needs of NEETs. The current version, developed using the co-design model and constantly evolving, is the result of its use by approximately two thousand young people who, thanks to the Regions' involvement and the active collaboration of over 200 operators from employment centres, have used AppLI to improve their CVs, simulate interviews, find their way in the world of work, and explore training and job opportunities related to their desired profession.

AppLI's main features:

  • provides tailored guidance based on individual needs and goals; 
  • allows users to understand and explore job opportunities relevant to their skills in their local areas; 
  • presents training opportunities available on the SIISL platform; 
  • explores labor market data and trends through integration with the Labour Market Intelligence platform developed by Sviluppo Italia;
  • supports the creation and optimization of resumes; 
  • supports the writing of cover letters;
  • simulates job interviews;
  • promotes continuous learning through short, targeted sessions (microlearning); 
  • provides useful information on self-employment and self-employment; 
  • supports users in the complete management of their applications.
